Indonesia Market Today - 2 November 2020

A. INDONESIA MORNING MARKET REVIEW

Monday (02/11/2020). JCI continued to strengthen in the fourth week by + 0.56% accompanied by a Net Sell of Foreign Investors of Rp -190.79 billion. At the beginning of this week, Monday, * JCI is expected to be hit by profit taking * following the Indonesian Stock Exchange holiday, the Global Stock Exchange collapsed for example * DJIA fell sharply by -1184 points (-4.28%) * due to uncertainty regarding the stimulus package, increasing number of victims Covid19 and the uncertainty about who will win the US Presidential Election. EIDO also experienced a sharp fall of -2.97% and several commodities including: Oil fell very sharply -7.29%, Gold -1.34%, Nickel -2.56% & Tin -1.75%. On the other hand, positive sentiment came from the strengthening of Coal + 1.19% & CPO + 2.12%, so that it has the potential to push up shares under these commodities.

 

 

B. INDONESIA CORPORATE NEWS

1. PT Vale Indonesia (INCO)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, * the company posted a net profit of US $ 76.64 million or a fantastic increase of up to 47800% YoY *, compared to the net profit of the same period in 2019 of US $ 160,000. The sharp increase in net profit was caused by the end of quarter 3/2020, the company`s revenue rose 12.7% from the previous US $ 506.46 million to US $ 571.02 million in the third quarter of 2020. The company recorded a shipment volume of 19,954 metric tons (MT). with revenues of US $ 210.6 million in quarter 3/2019.

 

2. PT Mayora Indah (MYOR)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company booked a net profit increase of 42.02% YoY to IDR 1.56 trillion. Meanwhile, until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company`s revenue edged down 2.11% YoY to IDR17.58 trillion. This amount came from domestic sales of Rp.10.46 trillion and export sales of Rp.7.13 trillion.

 

3. PT Kalbe Farma (KLBF)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted a revenue increase of 1.6% YoY to IDR17.09 trillion. Furthermore, until the end of the 3/2020 quarter, the company booked an increase in net profit of 5.84% YoY to IDR2.03 trillion.

 

4. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten (BJBR)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted a net profit of IDR 1.2 trillion or an increase of 5.9% YoY. Lending, which became a profit driver in the third quarter of 2020, grew by 8.7% with a total value of Rp. 94.6 trillion. Credit growth was accompanied by improved NPL, which fell by 25 BPS from last year to 1.5%, far below the national banking industry NPL average of 3.2% as of August 2020.

 

5. PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPIN)

Throughout the 3rd quarter of 2020, the company booked a profit for the current period attributable to the owners of the parent company of Rp 2.28 trillion or 10.94% decrease from the net profit of Rp 2.56 trillion in the same period in 2019. Meanwhile, until the end of the third quarter / 2020, the company posted sales of IDR 43.28 trillion or a slight decrease of 1.38% from the same period in 2019 of IDR 43.89 trillion.

 

6. PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia (JPFA)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted revenue of IDR 24.93 trillion or a decrease of 8.27% compared to the same period in 2019 of IDR 27.18 trillion. Meanwhile, until the third quarter of 2020, the profit for the current period attributable to the holding company of the parent company fell sharply by 75.34% to Rp 257.19 billion from Rp 1.04 trillion in the same period in 2019.

 

7. PT Kimia Farma (KAEF)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted sales of IDR 7.05 trillion, up 2.47% from the same period in 2019 of IDR 6.88 trillion. Meanwhile, until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity, which decreased slightly by 0.26% yoy to IDR 37.2 billion compared to the same period in 2019 of IDR 41.83 billion.

 

8. PT Kino Indonesia (KINO)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted a decline in sales of 10.71% YoY to Rp3.11 trillion. Meanwhile, until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted a net profit attributable to owners of the parent company of IDR161.7 billion, or a decrease of 63.83% YoY.

 

9. PT Bayan Resources (BYAN)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company booked a profit for the current period attributable to the parent entity of US $ 108.22 million or equivalent to IDR 1.58 trillion (1 USD = IDR 14,690) or a decrease of 48.25% compared to the same period in 2019 of US $ 229.73 million. Meanwhile, until the 3rd quarter of 2020, the company`s revenue fell 12% to US $ 1 billion. Meanwhile, revenue fell because export coal sales also fell 17.27% to US $ 868.79 million. Meanwhile, domestic coal sales rose 61% to US $ 129.78 million.

 

10. PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa (RALS)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted an annual decline in revenue of 57.03% to Rp1.9 trillion. As a result, until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company posted a net loss of Rp95.22 billion, reversing when compared to the net profit booked.
