Indonesia Market Today - 13 November 2020

Friday (13/11/2020). The increase in the number of victims affected by Covid19 and there are allegations that the new US government will lock down for 4 weeks to 6 weeks so that it disrupts the US economy is the reason the DJIA has slumped again by -1.08% which has the potential to be a negative sentiment to pull down the JCI this Friday. Furthermore, negative sentiment towards the JCI also came from the drop in EIDO by -2.41% and falling prices for several commodities, such as: Oil -1.32% and Nickel -0.61%.

 

Alcoholic Beverage Industry Threatened by the Minol Bill.

The DPR has prepared a Draft Bill on Alcoholic Drinks (RUU Minol). The bill contains questions on the prohibition of the production, storage, distribution and consumption of alcoholic drinks for several types, namely alcoholic drinks with ethanol content of 1% -5%, 5% -20%, and 20% -55%. The prohibition also applies to traditional and mixed or concocted alcoholic beverages. Parties who violate the provisions will be subject to criminal penalties in the form of imprisonment of three months to 10 years and fines ranging from IDR 20 million to IDR IDR 1 billion.

 

 

B. INDONESIA CORPORATE NEWS

1. PT Medikaloka Hermina (HEAL)

The company opened an option to acquire the hospital after the plan to conduct PMTHMETD or private placement was approved by shareholders which took place on Tuesday (10/11/2020). The company plans to issue shares in savings (portfolio) through PMTHMETD as much as 297,300,000 new shares with a nominal value of Rp100 or equivalent to Rp29.73 billion.

 

2. PT Adhi Karya (ADHI)

The company cut its bond issuance from IDR 2 trillion to only issuing bonds with a maximum value of IDR 600 billion. The Continuous Bonds III Adhi Karya Phase I Year 2020 consists of IDR276.6 billion which is guaranteed on a full commitment basis with a tenor of 3 years from the issuance date and an interest rate of 9.75%. Meanwhile, the remaining Rp323.4 billion is guaranteed in the best of terms, so that if it is not sold partially or completely, the remaining unsold will not become the company`s obligation to issue the bonds.

 

3. PT Waskita Karya (WSKT)

The company projects the potential for business development to reach IDR 92 trillion in the next 5 years, including projects in Java, namely infrastructure, connectivity and pipeline worth IDR 49 trillion. Furthermore, the potential for projects in East Kalimantan and Sulawesi for connectivity infrastructure and EPC is worth IDR 20 trillion. Waskita Modern Realti will develop an area of 600 hectares which will be designated as a residential and commercial center. Furthermore, the 75.8 KM toll project has an investment value of approximately Rp. 14 trillion. As for 2020, WSKT is targeting a new contract value of IDR 26.8 trillion. As of October, the achievement of new contracts reached Rp. 15 trillion.
