A. INDONESIA MORNING MARKET REVIEW

Thursday (19/11/2020). Concerns over the increase in Covid-19 infection and the potential for implementing a new lockdown pushed DJIA to fall back by -1.16%, so that for 2 days the DJIA fell by -512.02 points (-1.72%) and if combined with EIDO weakness by -0.73% as well as falling prices of several commodities such as: Gold -0.58%, Nickel -0.94% & Tin -1.02% * have the potential to be a negative sentiment * for this Thursday trade.

 

 

B. INDONESIA CORPORATE NEWS

1. PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna (HMSP)

Until the end of quarter 3/2020, the company recorded a net profit of IDR 6.91 trillion, or a decrease of 32.25% compared to the same period in 2019 of IDR 10.2 trillion. Meanwhile, until the end of quarter 3/2020 net sales were recorded at Rp. 67.77 trillion, or a decrease of 12.55% compared to the same period in 2019 of Rp. 77.5 trillion.

 

2. PT Surya Semesta Internusa (SSIA)

The company recently conducted groundbreaking for the Subang Smarpolitan project. In the first phase, SSIA will develop 400 ha. In the future, this project will occupy an area of 2,700 ha. Of the target area, SSIA allocated around 1,458 ha for industrial estates. Then, two land areas of 810 ha and 432 ha are designated for public facilities and residential areas, respectively. For 2021, the company targets to sell 40 ha. The company has so far disbursed IDR 1.5 trillion for the acquisition of 1,200 ha of land. In 2021, the company will again disburse Rp 700 billion for the development of the project.

 

3. PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung (WEGE)

The Company signed a contract for the construction of the UIN Alauddin Makassar Teaching Hospital building worth Rp. 132 billion.

 

4. PT Rig Tenders Indonesia (RIGS)

The company recorded revenues of US $ 29.43 million in the period April 2019 to June 2020 (15 months period), greater than the revenues in the April 2018-March 2019 period (12 months period) of US $ 28.29 million. However, if the April-June 2019 period, RIGS received revenues of US $ 6.49 million, so that RIGS`s total revenue for April 2018-June 2019 was US $ 34.78 million. Thus, RIGS`s April 2019-June 2020 revenue fell 15.38% from the same period the previous year. In addition, RIGS also recorded a profit of US $ 1.27 million in the 2020 financial year (15 month period), whereas previously it still suffered losses of US $ 8.38 million booked in the same period the previous year.

 

5. PT Sillomaritime Perdana (SHIP)

The company buys one unit of oil tanker through a subsidiary, PT Petrocean Indo Pasifik, with an estimated transaction value of US $ 18.50 million. The company has realized a capital expenditure of US $ 5 million by the end of the third quarter of 2020, which will be used to purchase three ships. The company is targeting revenues of US $ 78.79 million in 2020 and is targeting a net profit of US $ 24.04 million.
