Indonesia Market Today - 30 December 2020

A. INDONESIA MORNING MARKET REVIEW

Wednesday (30/12/2020). Today is the last trading day in 2021. So far the JCI`s performance has been quite satisfying amidst the many events and events that rocked the JCI, from the outbreak of Covid19 to infecting hundreds of thousands and killing tens of thousands of people, economic recession and several suspected cases of corruption that befall large institutions. * We have not yet lost our sense of shock and are shocked over the Jiwasraya and Asabri cases, now there are allegations of corruption cases that befell BPJS Ketenagakerjaan with an alleged amount of much more than Rp. 43 trillion which is thought to involve quite a lot of securities and asset management *. Let`s just wait for how the authorities in the field of law handle the alleged corruption that befell these 3 big institutions.

Meanwhile, for trading on Wednesday, there is a chance that the IGSG will fall back or fall again, referring to the DJIA drop of -0.22% and the EIDO drop of -0.63%. Negative sentiment also came from falling prices for several commodities, such as: Coal -1.35% & Nickel -0.85%, which has the potential to pull down share prices related to these commodities.

Furthermore, investors need to anticipate trade in early 2021 related to the plan to close all international flights to Indonesia starting January 1, 2021 as well as the plan to implement strict PSBB in several provinces such as: DKI Jakarta as the national economy & Jogjakarta.
